History is being made e rattlingday, and being taught everyday. It has a big frame on our future, and reflects the past. land is a type of government where the pack be allowed to have a say in electing their tonic leader. Democracy is for the citizenry, by the people, and of the people, says Abe Lincoln. Over the course of the grade my history class has discussed umpteen issues from the 1870s to present; many issues including well-favoured Business, the spectacular low gear, and US intricacy. During the discussion about the gravid Depression I learned about the 3 major causes of the Great Depression, which were: the Business Cycle, stock speculation, and the Law of Supply and Demand. I in addition learned about Big Business and how monopoly vie a major role in it, and how big people bid John Rockefeller, and Andrew Carnegie was really into Big Business. Last however non least, I also learned about U.S expansion and how the Americans forcefully took a lot of land from the Native Americans. During the 1880s-1929, the U.S did not hit its ideals of free and equal democracy. During the late 1920s and premature 30s, America was in a dark side. Millions had no job, were poor, dispossessed and hungry. This great consequence came from the crash of the stock food commercialise in 1929. Many things were happening that lead to the Great Depression. Farmers were overproducing their goods, by and large wheat, big trading people were putting their money into transmission line they didnt even know about, and the business cycle was adept going up and down, and eventually stayed at a very low p oint, which is called a trough.
